Town could have 40-year-old goalkeeping coach Andy Rhodes on the bench at Watford tomorrow as third choice stopper Shane Supple may have broken his toe. The Blues are already without Kelvin Davis due to his back injury, Lewis Price continuing in his place.

A young Town reserves side was thrashed 4-0 by a more experienced Charlton side at the Valley on Wednesday night. Midfielder Antonio Murray was the only Town player out of his teens while the Addicks fielded the likes of Francis Jeffers, Paul Konchesky and Jonatan Johansson.

An own goal from Matt Heath gave the Blues a deserved point in an entertaining game at the Walkers Stadium. Town went ahead through Ian Westlake in the first minute but Leicester hit back through David Connolly and Heath either side of the break, before the latter netted at the wrong end late on.

Matt Richards's last minute goal gained Town a draw from a largely turgid game at Portman Road. The visitors, who spent most of the 90 minutes frustrating the Blues, went ahead in the 19th minute when Robbie Blake scored his seventh of the season.

An 86th minute own goal from teenage loanee Matt Mills gave the Blues a 2-1 win at Coventry and took them to second in the table, Patrick Suffo having equalised Dean Bowditch's opener shortly beforehand. Despite the fortunate nature of the winning goal, the Blues fully deserved the three points.

Town's 100% home record came to an end as they were held 1-1 by Reading in Joe Royle's 1,000th match as a manager. The Blues went in front on 10 through Shefki Kuqi but Dave Kitson hit back for the Royals, however, Town had plenty of second half chances to take all three points.

Ten-man Town battled to a 3-2 victory after going two goals down within 13 minutes against newly-promoted Plymouth. Sub Shefki Kuqi netted twice late on after Fabian Wilnis had been shown a straight red card in the first half, after Jason De Vos had pulled a goal back for the Blues.

Town boss Joe Royle is demanding an immediate return to winning ways when his side face Plymouth Argyle at Portman Road on Saturday. Royle says he will make changes to the side which lost 2-0 at Doncaster Rovers in the Carling Cup on Tuesday.
